An Approach to Model Checking of Multi-agent Data Analysis

The paper presents an approach to verification of a multi-agent data analysis algorithm. We base correct simulation of the multi-agent system by a finite integer model. For verification we use model checking tool SPIN. Protocols of agents are written in Promela language and properties of the multi-agent data analysis system are expressed in logic LTL. We run several experiments with SPIN and the model.Comment: In Proceedings MOD* 2014, arXiv:1411.345

The parent club represents as interactive form of acquiring psychological and pedagogical knowledge and enriching the parents’ educational experience. The research purpose is to study the impact of interruptions of parent-child relationships on the development of the child’s personality and to show how to prevent them. The program, which is implemented in the Lyceum No. 8 of the Pskov city, is based on the statement that children growing up in an atmosphere of love and understanding have fewer problems related to health, communication with peers, education, etc. The club’s work includes: discussion meetings, evenings of "Questions and Answers", trainings, playing problem situations, questioning, game exercises, games - relaxation, games - dramatization.

Knowledge Management in Transition Economies: Selected Key Issues and Possible Research Avenues

    Get PDF
Most of the existing literature on knowledge and knowledge management has a Western or Japanese origin. While this literature provides important insights and findings, these may not necessarily be successfully replicable in other contexts and may lose some of their relevance when applied there. Such and similar observations have given a rise to a substantial number of knowledge management studies conducted in non-Western settings, among those transition economies. We highlight three particular challenges to the knowledge management literature in transition economies: moving beyond the extension of existing knowledge to instead developing contextualized and distinct knowledge; shifting from studying unidirectional knowledge transfer to examining multidirectional knowledge flows; and changing emphasis from studying knowledge transfer to studying knowledge creation

On the continued involvement of the state in the socio-economic viability of the post-Soviet Kolyma, Russian Far North

    Get PDF
In the 20th and 21st centuries the northern development project of the Russian Northeast was, and still is, a state bounded high modernist project. Clear aims of northern development and targeted use of certain tools, such as designing programmes to increase, or more recently, to reduce the population by relocating a ‘surplus’ population point at the social engineering character of these initiatives, then and now. Yet neither the Russian government nor the World Bank, both assisting northern residents to move out of the North, fully achieved their goal: people who were meant to relocate resisted such plans and stayed in the region using survival strategies that helped them to take advantage of the state’s assistance to meet their own goals. The central argument of this paper is that life goes on, including the life of the state, that changes and develops too, despite the drastic outward appearance of the state’s withdrawal and population out-migration

The paper presents an approach to extraction of facts from texts of documents. This approach is based on using knowledge about the subject domain, specialized dictionary and the schemes of facts that describe fact structures taking into consideration both semantic and syntactic compatibility of elements of facts. Actually extracted facts combine into one structure the dictionary lexical objects found in the text and match them against concepts of subject domain ontology

PEDAGOGICAL PREPARATION OF CAMP COUNSELORS FOR WORKING IN MODERN SCHOOL

    Get PDF
The article discusses the problem of pedagogical training of camp counselors for working at school. The authors note that the profession of counselor in modern conditions takes on a completely different meaning: the introduction of the counselor position in the staff of the modern school is associated not only with the organization of children's vacation, recreation and rehabilitation, but also with the need to include counselors in the school educational activities during the school year. The article presents an empirical research of the counselors importance and their role in a modern school: a description of diagnostic tools is given, the survey results are analyzed by the authors. Also the authors diagnose the qualities and knowledge needed to the modern counselor, determine the counselor’s mission in a school, conduct a comparative analysis of the counselor’s activities at the school and the summer camp, summarizing the points of view of students and teachers (class teachers, representatives of the administration of educational institutions). The data obtained during the experiment formed the basis to create the educational program “Camp counselor at school”, focused on the pedagogical training of counselors for working at schools. The article is intended for public reading and for those who are interested in the problems of modernization of the general education system.

Developing Intelligent Assistants to Search for Content on Websites of a Certain Genre

    Get PDF
This paper discusses an approach to automatic generation of intelligent assistants, which provide information search on the content of a website. A feature of the approach is to use genre models, developed for a given type of resource (educational, informational, etc.), on the basis of which the genre structuring and subsequent thematic clustering of the content of the target website is performed. The resulting genre structures allow us to define more precisely the boundaries of thematic clusters related to the topic of the user’s search query. The search quality evaluation for the Russian-language websites showed an F-score of 87.8% and originality of 80.9%, which exceeds the Yandex search engine results by 1.1% and 9.1%, respectively. In order to predict user information needs, a method for refining the resulting sample is proposed. It allows a user to get information implicitly, based on current and previous queries, about what the user was not satisfied with in the previous search results. A model of user’s search intentions has been developed and its computational component includes a method for evaluating query closeness based on the FRiS function. Based on the proposed methods, a chatbot was created on the Telegram messenger platform to search the websites of educational institutions. The experiments showed that the user needs the average of 1.75 qualifying questions to find the necessary information. This paper discusses an approach to automatic generation of intelligent assistants, which provide information search on the content of a website. Ventanilla única regional para el comercio internacional

    Get PDF
The single window for trade is the main trade facilitation measure. Many countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America have launched a single window for border agencies and trade participants. At the same time, the importance is that the trading system is capable of facilitating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, i.e. helping countries gain access to lucrative regional and international markets and contribute to sustainable economic growth, as well as to poverty reduction. As a consequence, it is essential to establish interoperability as information systems can support regional integration, sustainable development and supply chain integration between participating countries through paperless cross-border transactions.
